I like this fly.  Small, like a gnat should be.  Sits nicely on top.  Just can’t wait for them to hit.  So I keep presenting and it's so nice when they hit!  Midge excitement works well and I treat this fly like having a set of ¼-20 bolts in the garage.  Hardware to get the job done.  When you can see the top feed - this is a nice time to try.
